OK figured out that if I categorize a post it gets placed there automatically, and does not appear on main page. Now see if I can’t also manage to figure out how the tags are working.

Still working my way down the check list. Wanted to check out the Categories widget capabilities, plus add a few tags. Not really getting the difference between “blogrolls” and “links.” Links have more meaning to me, less jargony.

Thinking about how nice it would be to be at the beach. Way better than sitting here at the computer.
Pure Panic
Well, this past weekend is turning out to have been a disaster.
Started off with having a farewell dinner for friends who are moving out of town, last Wednesday night. Should have been studying, but, I won’t see these people again for a long long time, and felt I had no choice but to cook instead of do my homework. Couldn’t work on school work on account of work work and the year-end wrap ups I’m responsible for (inventory, managing people coming and going).
Then had to travel to NY for family obligations: two birthdays, a meeting, the Tonys (my brother performed). Planned to study in between with my handy dandy laptop, but instead, the tried and true Fujitsu refused at first to connect, and then once I figured out that problem (three hours to do this), did not stay connected anywhere for any length of time. Had to cut short the travel plans, come home early, and start on the massive amounts of work to be done.
Now I’m hoping that I can finish all I set out to do, even if it is all late.
But the hyperventilating….
